The Church is Christ's Bride

On Relevant Radio a few days ago they pointed out how important is was that Jesus started His ministry at the Wedding Feast of Cana. In fact, this shows how Jesus was beginning his relationship with His bride the Church.

Fr. Schmidt said something similar to this too. On the cross, Christ gave birth to the Church when the soldier pierced His Side. This was like when Eve was made from the side of Adam.
